Johannesburg, Egoli or the ‘City of Gold ‘ has much to offer the visitor. It is a cosmopolitan city which caters for all tastes. It is often the port of entry for visitors to South Africa, who prefer not to stay for long. We would encourage you otherwise, there is much to be discovered in this friendly African city. We offer a number of half day, full day or several day activities in and around Johannesburg. Please view the option a little further down the website – ‘Johannesburg half day and full day tours’.
Slightly further a field from Johannesburg we offer a number of tours and self drive holidays to all sorts of exciting destinations.
One of our favourites is the Mpumalanga Lowveld which is game country. It is one of the subcontinent’s few remaining havens for the big cats. The region is also home to some of Africa’s most scenic splendours. The unforgettable views from God’s Window or the Long Tom Pass, striking rock formations and spectacular waterfalls are not to be missed. The Blyde River Canyon is one of the natural wonders of Africa, while Bourke’s Luck Potholes presents astonishing examples of water erosion. Nearby is the quaint village of Pilgrim’s Rest which was one of the first gold rush towns, it drew diggers from as far afield as California and Australian. It is now a living museum, untouched by time, where you can try your luck panning for gold.
The northern region of South Africa is also home to the world famous Kruger National Park and many other luxurious and slightly more intimate private game reserves. We offer a variety of different holidays for you to choose from.
We also specialise in golfing tours to this region were you really do experience ‘golf on the wild side’ with antelope on the fairways and crocodiles in the waterholes. Play some of South Africa’s finest golf courses .. Please see our ‘Golf on the Wild Side’ option
